I had back surgery on march 18th and they went through my stomach to do the surgery. my period was due march 25th and its late.is this cuz of surgery?

Poyentially: The stress of surgery can certainly be a cause of you missing your period. If it is any way possible you are pregnant, you would be advised to find out as soon as possible to avoid the potential xrays that we get following an anterior lumbar fusion. Thank you for the question.

Yes: General anesthesia could get ur cycle off. Retro peritoneal approach can cause some mechanical irritability too that could effect ovarian function temporarily. Should resume within a cycle or two. If not get pregnancy test.
