A pain in the bottom: The best way to determine if you have pinworm is to check the person's anal area after they have been asleep for at least an hour. Pinworm come to the surface at night when the body is at rest. If you see white worms at the anus or if you see white worms in the stool those are signs of pinworm. You should consult your doctor if you think you have pinworm.
