Is it possible to die from holding urine for too long resulting in a burst bladder?

Very unlikely: I have never heard of it happening, but i guess if the bladder wall is very thin and you are truly good at holding urine, most of the time, your urge and ability to hold urine is less than the pressure of the bladder to squeeze out the urine.
