Exposed to hep B: Anti-hbc = hepatitis b core antibody, which means you have been exposed to hepatitis b (can aquire at birth if mother had it, IV drugs, tattoos, etc). It is important to see a hepatologist to ask you more questions and to check other labs to see if you have "active", "inactive" or just been exposed but are protected from hep b.
