Scabies: Scabies burrow into your skin and create an itchy rash that persists until treated with Permethrin cream and even then takes awhile to get better. Bedbugs do not live on ir in your skin but bite when exposed to human skin creating an itchy rash that will resolve over a week or so. Scabies is contagious to others and bed bug bites are not.

If hypersensite blisters may occur. A telltale sign is linear track of lesions from sequential feedings – but doesn't always occur.
