Evaluation: While the most common cause of less than perfect sight is a need for eyeglasses, there are a variety of diseases that can affect vision including diabetes, glaucoma, cataracts, etc. You should see your ophthalmologist to determine the category into which you fall and the corrective needs.

See an eye doc: Depends on the cause of the poor sight. Glasses and contacts and lasik are all options. Most important is that you see the eye doctor to determine what works best for your needs.
