Normal life usually : Most important i'd to be followed regularly by a doctor. At times the hep b can be suppressed with medications. As one gets older with hep b, the main concern is decompensated cirrhosis and liver cancer. Your doctor will be able to order tests on a regular basis to monitor you for these complications.

Depends: If the chronic hepatitis is treated and responsive to antiviral medication, the disease may take decades to progress. Patients may lose hep bsag and hep beag. However some patients will require prolonged treatment especially with oral anti viral meds. Treatment can also be interferon. See your hepatologist.
