Varies: Many women will have those symptoms as the Progesterone level rises because the nipple can be more sensitive to progesterone. The Progesterone level increases after ovulation and falls just before the period starts - if conception occurs the Progesterone levels stays elevated and goes even higher due to the pregnancy.
