Stenosis: In this country surgery is considered the definitive care for stenosis especially for cervical stenosis. Conservative care is traction and possibly cervical epidural steroids. Ultimately, want to do something before stenosis causes problems that will not be reversed by the surgery. Problem is predicting who will get worse and how fast.

Stenosis: As stated , surgery is the traditional standard and does help . Having said that, and has been stated , there is a lot that can go wrong , too. Speak freely to your surgeon and second opinions never hurt anyone. Good luck.
