What is the record for the longest period of time on peritoneal dialysis?

Years!: This modality to keep people alive is not the easiest. If all works well and there are no complications with the catheters and especially infections/peritonitis one can live on it for years. Of course a kidney transplant is the best of the solution with the best quality of life!
