Exanthema subitum: Hhv6 and hhv7 can cause high fever in healthy infant (9-12month) followed by rash (small blanchable pink macules and papules on trunk and neck). Self limited course with rare sequelae. Virus persists thru the life of the patient. Reactivation age 10 - 43 may result in pitryriasis rosea which is c;haracterized by fine scaling papules andplaques with marginal collarette on trunk, arms and legs.
