A member asked:

Can congestive heart failure be cured with today's medicine?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

CHF: We have much more effective CHF therapy than in the 70's. On the other hand we don't really cure congestive heart failure unless a curable cause is present and that is most often not the case. Having said that people with CHF do much better now than they did 20years ago and we continue to improve.
