What determines your elegibility to get an oopherectomy?

There has to be : Something wrong with the ovary, usually it means that there is evidence on imaging that there is an ovarian tumor ( either benign or malignant) , or patient is at high risk for ovarian cancer based on genetic test showing brca1or 2 mutation.
