Basics: Menses is the shedding of liquified material from the walls of the womb that were there to support a pregnancy if/when it occurs. Normal menses in volume/duration/flow in not expected during pregnancy. Slight bloody show occasionally might suggest implantation bleeding or placental movement but not full normal menses. The occurrence is hard to explain if true.
