Tubal or tubal preg?: When you say tubal are you referring to a tubal ligation or tubal pregnancy? If you had your tubes tied your chance of accidental pregnancy is very low. Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in.

2-4 days: There is a small chance of pregnancy after a tubal ligation. Generally less than 1% per year. Remember also that it's normal for periods to vary by several days at times. But if no period in 2-4 days check a pregnancy test. If it is positive call your doctor immediately, since a pregnancy after a tubal ligation can be in the tubes.
