A member asked:

Are there less invasive procedures for bifemoral artery bypass surgery? had the cath done for years ago and they said it was too advanced for that.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

NO: When you need an aortobifemoral graft you need an aortobifemoral graft, period. When that is what you need, nothing else will give the long term patency. Lesser procedures have suboptimal flows and lesser 5 year patency rates.
