Try dandruff shampoo: In fact, a dry itchy scalp may not be dry, but a sign of an oily inflammation like seborrheic dermatits or even psoriasis. Check to see if you have flaking on your face or your elbows or heels. Try a dandruff shampoo, like t gel or selsun. If you are not better, see your dermatologist.
