See doctor now: What is cause depends on where bleeding is coming from and could be due to certain medication. If he's bleeding for a week he could be anemic and very sick and he should be seen immediately.

ER ASAP!: For a person his age, he needs to be seen asap. If he can't be seen by his primary care physician within the next 48 hours, take him to the nearest emergency room.
