Not necessarily: Early on: 1 to 3 oz is the average volume for the 1st week for a full term infant. 2 to 4 oz average moving toward 1 month. Infants also may have challenges with capacity acceptance in their stomach and emptying time.

Depends on variables: By two weeks the capacity of the infant stomach approaches 1/2 their pound weight as ounces (4oz for 8lb). If they are much of an air swallower & hard to burp, the air fills more of that volume than a good burper. Some kids take smaller volumes more frequently, some larger volumes less often. As long as the kid is active, growing & wetting diapers well i don't worry much about individual feeds.
