A member asked:

My father(49 years) is suffering from angiomyolipoma, what is treatment?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bleeding?: Kidney angiomyolipomas are usually benign and asymptomatic but can bleed particularly if they get large (around 4 cm). Treatment for bleeding is putting a catheter into the the artery or arteries supplying the tumor and then occluding the bleeding vessels with coils placed through the catheter.
