Rash: Mupirocin is an antibiotic cream and needs to be used judiciously. All rash does nto have infection over it. So see ur doc first to see ehat the rash is from. If its fungal rash for example, the treatment is different. If it is contact dermamtitis the treatment is different.

It is safe: But wasteful. Most itchy rashes are not bacterial in origin.
