Exposure to HBV: Being anti-hbc igg positive can mean that one has had hbv infection in the past (anti-hbs will also be +) or currently infected (hbsag will be +). Some people are only + for anti-hbc igg which can reflect current low grade infection, remote infection, or a false positive.
