Gluten: Dermatitis herpetiformis is related to gluten. Dh can be diagnosed with skin biopsy. Blood tests may also help. Complete elimination of gluten will make the condition go away.

Gluten allergy: Most likely due to gluten allergy. Need to be on a complete gluten free diet to help relive the condition. Sometimes this is not enough and you may need to be treated with Dapsone to minimize the skin symptoms.
