I keep getting cold sores. i've tried almost everything and nothing works. help?

Cold sores: I sympathize with you since i suffer from them as well. There are several treatments that are effective. Medications such a Valtrex (valacyclovir) can be prescribed. You must take the medication as soon as you feel the tingle . & a second dose 12 hours later. Lasers can be used as well.

See an OMS: If you truly have tried every otc remedy, then you may need a prescription to control your cold sores. Also, there are different types of mouth sores that need different treatments.
