Soon: As you likely know, bc pills have two hormones in them (estrogen and progesterone). Higher levels of these two hormones in your blood stream prevent the usual signal that causes you to release an egg or ovulate. Missing several days of your bc pills drops those hormone levels and sends a signal to the inside of your uterus to slough off the lining that has been building up. It will even out soon.
