Acetaminophen: Acetaminophen (tylenol) is a reasonable pain medication. Use caution with nsaids like Ibuprofen (motrin) as it can be hard on the stomach as can oral steroids (like ulcers).

Headache: There are many reasons for having a headache while on steroids, and determining the reason for the headache will help determine the treatment. Having said that, tylenol (acetaminophen) is safe.
