The pain is due to inflammation in kidney infection and is usually associated with illness from an infected internal organ.. Kidney infection: It depends. If you have a simple urinary tract infection you should already feel better. It is kidney infection without kidney stone maybe in 1-2 days you should feel much better. If there is a problem assocated with infection like stone it will depend. Please see your doctor.
