That can be hard to : Say. If back pain still occurring without being sick it's difficult. The pain may not be the kidneys if you are no longer ill. The pain is due to inflammation in kidney infection and is usually associated with illness from an infected internal organ.. If it is from the infection it should start to improve within another day or 2. Gd luck.

Kidney infection: It depends. If you have a simple urinary tract infection you should already feel better. It is kidney infection without kidney stone maybe in 1-2 days you should feel much better. If there is a problem assocated with infection like stone it will depend. Please see your doctor.
