Getting higher: >60% at five years do not drink to cirrhosis do not get hepatitis do not get liver cancer once one has these conditions, transplant may be only option in the right risk person.

No alternate. :(: When a liver is diseased enough to require transplantation nothing else will prolong the long-term life. The success rate depends on how sick the patient is, what the quality of the organ is and how the transplant goes. Overall survival rate is 80 -85% in the first year.
