MayB: Obviously ur not having a good recovery, sorry. There r a few tricks that ?Help. Sit in chair foot flat on floor scootch ur butt forward 2 a level of pain u can handle wait awhile & repeat, in chair drag heel 2ward u as if digging a trench push heel down hard. Will knock out guad resistance. On couch slid cushio out some flex knee against cushn squeeze it with ur upper tibia against its resistnce.

Complicated: You are very young to have undergone a knee replacement surgery. Having said that, there are certain people that need them because of severe trauma that caused premature arthritis. Your goals must be realistic -- you will not get full motion back like a native knee. Other things to consider is if the knee was implanted properly. Maybe get a second opinion.

Knee replacement: I agree with dr bigos. Also preop contracture is the biggest determinant of postop contracture.
