Recurring seizures: Seizure 'disorder' - tendency to have unprovoked recurrent seizures, often, not exclusively, convulsions. It is disordered neuronal activity in the brain that causes disruption of thinking or involuntary movements, loss of consciousness; also called epilepsy. Some doctors loosely call a single seizure a 'disorder' but should't apply to a single one caused by an unusual trigger that can be avoided.
