I'm currently on a daily dose of 20mg of nexium (esomeprazole). i am 4 weeks pregnant are these meds safe to take? i tried not taking it i was in pain after 2 days.

Nexium (esomeprazole) preganancy: I would recommend you switch to otc liquid antacid like maalox or tums (calcium carbonate). Avoid as much prescription medications during pregnancy unless it is necessary and prescribed by your doctor.
