Talk to pharmacist: If you have acid reflux you first can try to optimize the therapy. You can use a h2 blocker or a pph (proton pump inhibitor). It is possible that in the morning your medication is low. So a simple change of dosing may help. Your pharmacist may suggest taking a dose right before bed in addition to the morning dose. Surgery can stop the need for medication. Avoid late meals.
