Brown discharge: Brown discharge is usually small amounts of oxidized blood. Imagine you cut yourself in the kitchen. At first it is bright red, the dark red, then a brown scab. This happens because the color change indicates oxidation of the hemoglobin in the blood. With vaginal discharge, the transit time from your uterus to the outside was long enough to allow oxidation. no ovulation, small amounts of blood.
