do you ovulate after finishing birth control?

Generally not: If the birth control pills are working properly, you should not be ovulating after you finish the pack and/or get your period. There is, of course, a small failure rate with bcp; and if you do not get your period, than you should do a pregnancy test and/or talk to your gyn.
