Corpus Luteal cyat: When you ovulate, the space where the egg came from forms a cyst, called the corpus luteal cyst. This normal cyst makes progesterone, which gets the uterus ready for a pregnancy. If fertilization does not occur, after 10-14 days, the customer will burst, causing the lining to be shed, and you have a period.
