Not necessarily: As long as you are followed by a dr while in school, then should be ok. The pace / hours / stress are likely to be the greatest risks to your health...Until your pediatrics rotation...Everyone gets sick during peds (usually because we get closer to the patients and spend more time with them!). Caution will win the day.

Not necessarily: Depends on why you are on immunosuppressants and how severely immunosuppressed you are. I wouldn't let the fact that you are on immunosuppressive meds stop you from pursuing a career in medicine.
