Yes; possibly: A brown discharge represents old blood. This old blood could be associated with irregular period; pregnancy; the normal beginning to a period and sometimes an infection. I would not use the color of any discharge as a gauge to whether or not you are pregnant. Check a pregnancy test or follow-up with your gyn to investigate further the cause of why you have a brown discharge.
