Mostly emotional : Abortion is painful in many ways. The pain can be controlled for by an appropriate use of medication so that the pain is minimized. The procedure is fairly straightforward and simple in the vast majority of occasions. But emotionally and in some cases physically it could be very painful and it is something to be taken seriously and discuss with a trusted person or loved one.
