Spot seen by x-ray on left kidney?

Radiologist?: About one adult in four has a simple cyst of the kidney. If the radiologist is able to reassure you and your physician that it is benign, do not be concerned. If not, your physician knows how to work it up or refer you to a colleague who does. Stay proactive & good luck.

X-rays are usually: not very good at identifying kidney abnormalities other than kidney stones. A "spot" is not a standard descriptor, it doesn't really mean anything from a radiology standpoint. What was in the x-ray report?
