Joint stiffness: Stiffness and pain in fingers and toes can be a number of problems: connective tissue or autoimmune disorders such as lupus or scleroderma. Another cause can be signs of psoriatic or rheumatoid arthritis. Consult your family doctor or rheumatologist they can do blood tests and x-rays to determine the cause. Definitely keep active by exercising and stretching to prevent further stiffness.
