Worry vs. adrenalin: Hi mark, it's often hard to distinguish the two. The way I have patients look at it is like this: "normal adrenalin" rushes are like what you get on a roller coaster. It makes your heart beat faster and your blood pressure go up a bit, but it's not usually accompanied by morbid thoughts. Okay, i guess you could worry about the roller coaster flying off the tracks, but i think you get the picture.
