A member asked:

I have a yeast infection an i just started my menstrual cycle. is that a good thing or bad. will it make the infection worse?

Hard to say: Sometimes the menstrual cycle will have the effect of "washing out" of the yeast infection and restoring normal ph balance. But sometimes the hormonal changes that occur predispose women to developing symptoms of a yeast infection. Everyone's body responds differently. Hard to say for sure.
