Would mild to moderate lukocytes in urine indicate a kidney infection?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Prob Urin Tract Infx: With a properly obtained clean catch urine specimen, mild to moderate leukocytes in the urine might indicate a bladder or kidney infection. Bladder infection might just present with urinary urgency and frequency, sometimes with some blood. Kidney infections usually start with bladder infection then infect the kidneys, in which case fever, chills, and flank pain (frequently with nausea/vomiting).
