Contact dermatitis: It may be contact dermatitis , you both might have come in contact with some allergen.You can use over the counter Hydrocortisone cream 1 percent and if does not get better see your doctor.

Both need doctors: Sounds like you both need appointments with your doctor(s) in the immediate future. Numerous things it could be, including bedbugs and other infestations.
