Possibly canker : Sores/aphthous ulcers. Can try otc glyoxide to help heal them & provide relief or can rinse mouth with mixture of warm salt water, hydrogen peroxide, and mouthwash; be sure to get rinse under tongue where lesions are, but do not swallow it. Use 3-4 times a day. If no improvement in couple days, see fp or ENT for exam & treatment. Avoid acidic foods & drinks (oj/pop) as thy may irritate sores more.

Rinse : If the area was fine before the bite, it should heal in a week or two. To help it along, do warm salt water rinses 3-4 times a day and to prevent infection use an otc antiseptic rinse such as rincinol or peroxyl.
