Dysmenorrhea : If your periods have stopped altogether and you're not pregnant, you should make an appointment with your gynecologist to have yourself evaluated. There can be a myriad of causes, including stress, a shift in the hormone production in your pituitary-adrenal axis, a uterine polyp, or several other things. Dysmenorrhea always warrants close follow up.
