BMI: Find a body mass index chart , and it will tell you if the person's weight is in the normal range according to his height. The cdc has a good page about it: http://www.Cdc.Gov/healthyweight/assessing/bmi/childrens_bmi/about_childrens_bmi.Html.

Use a growth chart: There are growth charts for kids 0-18. You can find them online. They compare you to others you age. Sometimes you need yoour bmi. There are bmi calculators online. Also, consider your family history. A growth spurt may happen early or later. Ethnicity may also affect body type and height. There is a big range of "normal" among teens. If you have concerns, talk with your doctor.
