A member asked:

Is it possible that a pill struck in your throat?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: It is possible for a pill to become lodged in the throat and depending on the medication this can be quite serious. More commonly, the pill passes but the sensation persists from irritation of the lining of the throat.
