Yes, GI symptoms: Acute adrenal crisis in addison's disease occurs when the body needs much higher levels of 'stress steroid hormones' (cortisol) than is in blood-- e.g. When steroid dose is missed or in severe illness, stress or after surgery. Symptoms of adrenal crisis include gastrointestinal (severe abdominal pain, vomiting, nausea, loss of appetite) , dehydration (dizziness, low blood pressure), salt craving.
