Many reasons: Itching can be secondary to a skin condition or can be secondary to an internal problem. Dry skin is a common cause of itching in the winter. I suggest you consult your primary doctor first and if they are unable to elucidate the problem see a dermatologist or allergist about your issue.

It can also be caused by scabies, atopic dermatitis, or an underlying medical disorder. You should see a doctor or dermatologist for evaluation and treatment. You may need to get a biopsy or patch testing.
